"Tweetup For Our Troops" is Houston's Tweet up for July and everyone is invited.

We will have a CASH BAR. Plenty of street parking.

We hold a space where all Twitter users come together to share, grow and learn how social networking and promoting each other's BIZ will bring our economy back into a thriving, prosperous life.

Whether you a new to Twitter or been on for  a while our tweetup is here to create community and galvanize us in cooperative ways.

There is no one way to use twitter, so if you are open minded and positive you will enjoy out event.

Since several of us have husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, or children in the armed forces we wanted to show our support this July 4th in a way that allows for them to have a taste of home in their pockets.  We will be offering MRE (meal ready to eat - or for ours drink) you can purchase and we will ship to troops in Iraq. (one of our supporters out of Houston area asked for a donation button, so we thought we would put it here for everyone who cannot attend- We are asking for donations in increments of $25.00-Thanks for your support, we look for you at our next event)

Bring your cards and be ready to network, learn about each other, what services or products you offer and how you can support and do business with each other.

We're using Eventbrite to help us maintain one consolidated list of registered attendees, and we need your cooperation! Typically, Tweetups can have a no-show rate of about 35 percent, which is too high if we want to avoid waste and spend our sponsor money wisely and efficiently. Please sign up on Eventbrite only if you are committed to attending the event. If you sign up and later find out you won't make it, please take your name off the list. But for planning purposes, please help us keep this list as accurate as possible. Thank you very much!
